There’s no other event like it in the San Francisco Bay Area, and comments from our past participants illustrate why.

Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society has participated in the Bay Area Pet Fair since its first year. The Pet Fair has been very beneficial to our adoptions. We might be on the other side of the Bay, but it’s extremely easy to get to us from the Marin area, and some great dogs and cats have been adopted by people who saw us and learned about us at the Pet Fair. Additionally, we have found the Fair and its staff to be very supportive of our organization and others.

The Bay Area Pet Fair is the only event I am aware of that showcases rescue groups, vendors, non-profits and community service organizations from five different counties in one place. There is plenty of space to bring your dogs and experience what the Bay Area has to offer for pet owners and for those people looking to own a pet. It’s an all-encompassing event with exhibitions, contests and so much more!!

I have been an exhibitor at the Bay Area Pet Fair the last two years and am looking forward to the weekend again this year. The feelings of family and community are wonderful. So many pets find great new homes, and the smiles from the new ‘parents’ are wonderful to see. I would encourage anyone with an interest in pets to make this weekend a part of their year.

We have participated in the previous Bay Area Pet Fairs, and it is with great excitement that we anticipate this year’s event! It’s so thrilling to see all the wonderful rescue animals available for adoption, and the program of special events is terrific. And The OTHER Dog Show is great fun for all! We placed many fine animals both from our sanctuary and our Bay Area rescue and adoption efforts. Kittens, puppies and dogs all do well at the Pet Fair! Everyone should come and see what terrific rescue animals are available for adoption; bring the family!

I like this better than the Cow Palace Dog Show because there is much more emphasis on rescue and the location is fabulous! Green grass! Blue sky! Sunshine! Lovely lake!
